The bot and the app are one diary once they are linked. A short code links them: you take it in the bot and type it in the app. The app is not in the App Store yet; the home page has the waiting list.
Before you start
Telegram with our bot in it, and the app installed. The code is short-lived, so take it when the app is already on the sign-in screen.
Step by step
- Send /login in the bot — it replies with a code.
- Open the sign-in screen in the app and type that code.
- The app shows which two diaries met and which of them stays the main one.
- If neither side has any history, the link happens right away — one diary from then on.
- If both sides have entries, the app asks for a confirmation and merges the two histories into one.
After a merge there is nothing to sign in to again: the app stays in the same account even when the other diary became the main one.
What it gives you
- One diary — an entry from the chat is there in the app, and the other way round.
- One access — the subscription counts once, wherever it was bought.
- Health and the watch — they are connected in the app, and the steps, the expenditure and the workouts arrive in the same diary you see in the bot.
If it did not work
- «This Telegram is already linked to another account» — the account in the app already has a Telegram of its own. Write to us and we will work out which diary to keep.
- The code was refused: it is short-lived, so ask /login for a new one. A failed attempt does not spend it — it is spent only when something was really linked.
- Afraid of losing entries in the merge: export the diary from the app first, confirm after.
