Health is where your scales, your rings and your sleep already are. Connect it and those numbers stop being something you type: they arrive in the diary on their own, so the only thing left to log by hand is food. The app for iPhone is not in the App Store yet — the home page has the waiting list.
Before you start
An iPhone with the app installed and signed in. The bot in Telegram has no access to Health at all: this one happens in the app.
Step by step
- Open the app and go to Settings.
- Tap «Allow access to Health» in the Apple Health section.
- Read the consent screen. It lists four groups — the body, energy and activity, recovery, water and drinks — each with one sentence saying what it is for and the exact types under it. Leave on what you want and switch off the rest.
- Confirm. Health then asks once per group, in its own window: tick the types there too, or Health has nothing to give.
- Watch the first sync. It walks back through what is already in Health, and the day on screen fills in as it goes.
The menstrual cycle is separate
It sits under the four groups, switched off, and is asked for last — and only if you switch it on yourself. It is not part of «the body» and never travels with it.
Writing food back into Health
Off by default and a switch of its own: «Write food into Health» asks for the write permission in a separate window, because reading your weight and writing your lunch are two different things. Everything else moves one way only — out of Health into the diary.
If nothing arrives
- The toggle in the app is on but Health shows nothing: iOS asks each permission once, so a window you declined is not shown again. Open the iPhone’s Settings → Health → Apps → Kalorika and turn the types on there.
- A device that writes to Health slowly (scales, a band) arrives when it syncs, not when you step off it.
- «Move history from Health» in the same section re-reads the past if you connected late.
